This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a great fitness center, and a relaxing seasonal outdoor pool. On my first stay, the staff helped with printing, which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend enjoying the evening entertainment. I'm coming back for Easter!

The outdoor pool area is well-designed and inviting.
The food quality was disappointing, particularly during dinners, as the vegetarian options lacked freshness and tasted greasy. We faced issues with room service when cleaners entered our room unexpectedly without knocking, which felt invasive and unprofessional. we didn't receive the room type we booked, which added to our frustrations during the stay.

The lovely decor was both elegant and inviting, making me feel as if I stepped into a spa rather than a hotel. The carpeted corridors were especially comforting, providing easy mobility for seniors like me.
More accessible seating in dining areas.

Couples looking for a good experience
The staff at the lounge were fantastic, always bringing us special milk for coffee, and the room was genuinely comfortable with high-quality linen. The entertainment was pretty decent too, especially when they had live music nights that made the place feel lively.
It wasn’t inexpensive but still tolerable, considering the experience.

missingWrote a review on Jul 11clean facilitiesgreat fishexcellent cocktailsservice delaysair conditioning
Melia in Isla Canela offered a beautiful atmosphere for our holiday. The main restaurant featured a fantastic buffet with numerous options, especially the fresh fish selections. The location had lovely views from our balcony, overlooking the bay, which enhanced our experience. The beach was magnificent, with stretches of white sand and warm water, making our afternoons enjoyable. The hotel had a great lounge, where the cocktails were enjoyable, although the pool bar could use improvements in service, especially during lunch hours when it felt chaotic. The wait for drinks at the bar was frustrating, as table orders took precedence, causing delays for those simply wanting drinks. A dedicated staff for bar orders would really help streamline the process. Another downside was that the air con in one of our rooms struggled a bit, which took some time to resolve. On the bright side, the staff were polite and attentive, especially the team who made an effort to accommodate dietary needs during meals. The grounds felt clean, and the housekeeping kept our room tidy. While the evenings had some live music, the overall nightlife felt a bit limited, as options were not very vibrant. If you’re looking for a laid-back stay, this hotel fits the bill, but some areas could use a little more attention.
